Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more efficient. They pass our cleaning tests, and are able to handle a variety of flooring. Choose models that permit you to select between a variety of modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
Many of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save schedules, maps and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of rooms and floors.
When I tested the S1, it was quick to identify our downstairs, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, as well as carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It easily drove close to walls without crashing into them, and was able to traverse raised room thresholds with no issue, though it occasionally had trouble navigating down stairs in a single step. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and raised itself when it reached carpets or carpets.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and fills up its water tank with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for about twelve cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though this can vary based the amount you use the mop.
The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them getting blocked by dirt or dust. However, overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, especially compared to other models that require more care.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8700Pa of suction power and comes with many advanced features like voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor, as opposed to just drag the pad across it. robotvacuummops.uk can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when needed.
This robot has an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It also includes a hand vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are two water tanks that are automatically filled or empty. It comes with a range of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can easily remove dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation capabilities are quite good, though it can get stuck on small area mats and rugs around my home (which you can reduce by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also excellent and include a pair of mops which are able to lift and scrub floors instead of drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with hot water and dried in the basestation when required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-free maintenance making it a top contender for our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush will give you a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is a great choice on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned the dirtiest areas well, eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other mess. The sweeping power is enhanced by an additional side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is nimble that can navigate tight spaces and negotiating the stairs without a hitch. It can easily move from one room to another without changing direction it is a useful feature for homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than the ones of other competitors, and leaves a huge margin between obstacles. This can result in missing spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and easy to use. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you plan and manage cleanings, change mopping and suction power settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. But, you'll require a reliable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of removing debris and dirt but it's not always able to be able to reach every particle of dust. It's important to vacuum often, at least once a week. This is particularly important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is made to do just that. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your routine of cleaning.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on price by eliminating mopping functions and using a cheaper plastic body.
Even though it's not able to wipe your floors, the Q5 still has some of the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system which means you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart app that lets you schedule cleanings and determine the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling and washing system that is hands-free.
The mops also stand out, with a 2700Pa power to take on pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any issues with high-pile carpets or area carpets, but it didn't clean up cat litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested. It also uses a unique system to map your home. This allows it to get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. It also collects more dust in the bin, which means you don't have to empty it as often. It also has washable filters which further reduces costs. The robot can also recognize carpets and boost the suction when needed. The app allows you to mark areas you want to avoid and is a great feature.
